Ate so much food these past few days, so i might as well blog about it :)

Destination #1: Sushi Bay at Macarthur Square, Campbelltown 

Occasion: Mother's Day 2012
People Present: The Li Family

As you can see from the above photo, the prices were pretty decent but it's not the cheapest sushi train i've been too. There's a place out in the city at Market City, $2 for each plate of sushi! Anyhoo, back to Sushi Bay..the customer service was good. Weird thing though..i think the people who worked there spoke in Korean HAHA. The whole fambam ate A LOT in the end, but the quality of the food there is definitely top notch and i wouldn't mind going back there again ! (already my 4th time hehe) You can visit their official site over here

There were other dishes as well but i think i was too hungry and forgot to take a photo of it before eating :S Mr Chao's is a Chinese restaurant where you can Yum Cha in the morning and i do believe that the owner of that restaurant has changed multiple times over the past years of my life..Well, for us Chinese, there is an important celebration for a baby when he/she turns one month old :) Our family was invited to this very event and i would like to say..THE BABY IS SO CUTEEE. His name is Micah, his sister's name is Myra, his mum's name is May and his dad's name is Michael. See the pattern? MMMM! Such a cute family :) Anyway, back to the food..my favourite dish of the night was definitely the Lobster! It was just so juicy but due to my braces..i could not bite open the shell for the..pincers? Don't know what they're called :S


So yes! That's my food adventure for now :) Well, i practically have a food adventure every night with mum's cooking but i rarely go out for dinner..so these outings are extra special :)

to my dear maamee,
    its been officially 17 years and a week since you became a mum, and i bet it was the best thing that happened to you right? ;) i know you'll never read this blog cos you're such a computer noob, but i would just like to say that i love you so so much! Thanks for always being there for me when i needed to cry on someone's shoulder (remember that time i got a blister on my hand from climbing across the monkey bars too much..and you warned me not to play too much or else my hands would blister..and i didnt listen? CAN'T BELIEVE YOU AND DAD TOOK A PHOTO OF ME CRYING DUE OF THE PAIN D:) thanks for all the wonderful dishes you magically cooked up for the fambam, i would be so happy if my future cooking is anywhere as good as yours! Some of my favourites include: 

• the durian milkshakes and icecream
• the cakes you've baked for us (pavlovas, cheesecakes, chocolate cakes, pandan etc)
• salt-baked chicken, thai chicken, chicken kebabs, soya sauce chicken wings and many other chicken dishes
• your seafood laksas
• TOO MANY TO LIST THEM ALL OUT, BUT YOU GET THE PICTURE >:) this explains to everyone why im so fat heh

You have looked after me so much over the past years and i wouldnt even stop to think about looking after you when you're all frail and old hurhur <3

dear maamaa,
 i swear, you are THE healthiest 79-year-old i have ever met! Stop complaining about your memory and old age cos you are coping much better than other women your age! This year is a big year for you (turning 80) and i can't wait to spend endless days with you in Hong Kong after my HSC! you make me smile all the time even though our conversations may sometimes get all muddled up cos of my dodgy Cantonese :S i know where my dad's loudness came from..not from yeye but from YOU! HEHE you two always seem to have shouting competitions on the phone or something, i can hear you anywhere :') stay strong!

dear porpor,
 it's been nearly 2 years since i came to Hong Kong to come visit you in the elderly home which you're staying at..i'm so so sorry! Even though i know you don't remember me or have any memory of the times we had together because of the losing battle you're having with Alzheimer's but know that i remember every one of those moments where you cared for me. I have complete faith in you reaching 90 years old, please do..i want to see you again soon! mum misses you a lot, but dont worry, she's coming back in a couple of months time. i know deep down, behind all that memory loss, you still remember your youngest daughter and love her very much :( ok i'm starting to cry right now, so i'll stop here..

first of all, thank-you so much to everyone today who either got me a card, made me some food (yum), bought me some chocolate (dont worry chungy, i love them!), attacked me with a birthday hug (diem, sierra, danielle, clement...), treated me with a nice birthday hug (tehe), gave me a birthday punch (oh wilson) or just gave me a wonderful "happy birthday joki!" I love ALL of you guys dearly..oh man, getting emotional yet again :'( 

an EXTRA big thank-you to my wonderful group of 10 (including me heh) !! the powerpoint presentation/videos were so heart-warming regardless of how long each of your videos were hehe. Was totally surprised and not expecting it..making me love you guys even more! Cant pick a favourite from them..cos i love all of them equally! WOOOOOO, I LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH <3

batman, just in case you were wondering..i did not die from eating your blue-coloured macaroons. even though they looked a bit funky, tasted a bit funky..I COULD FEEL THE LOVE POURING OUT FROM THEM! HEHEHE thankyou so much! oh also, my fellow podna, YOUR CUPCAKES HAVE ONCE AGAIN BEEN A SUCCESS! Man the swirly effect..so beautiful hehe. veronica, your cookies are neither too chewy nor too crunchy..which was perfect for me! experiencing pain both physically and emotionally

first of all.. I HAVE FINALLY FINISHED READING 'THE HUNGER GAMES' !! I know..it's been a while since i started but a lot of stuff have come up since i started reading HAHA

yesterday, i had my last ever Cross Country..actually got a bit sad even though that was my second cross country i had in Hurlstone HAHA (had year 11 half yearlies last year...) but im glad i entered the 'Serious Competitors' race at the start..even though i didn't put my name down as rank 23 after the race heh. It brought back memories..seriously. My first cross country at HAHS was in year 10, and i ran with Kitty cat. Coincidentally, i ran with Kitty cat for my last cross country as well but this time..she was the one listening to music HAHA man we've changed  a lot :L i was actually surprised at the number of people who entered the first race..shows how fit our year group is LOL jk, half of them stopped running once we reached the dairy..that half includes me and kitty but then we started running every time we gained the strength to or when we saw Jimmy catching up. 

Dude, if jimmy beat me the cross country..that would be sad. Sorry jimbo..but you know it to be true.

 Funniest thing happened man. I was just casually power-walking down the track when i spotted kinetixdawgs looking all perplexed standing in the grass so i jokingly yell out "Hey Kenny! Did you step into some cow shiz or something?" Turns out he got cow excrement flicked onto his leg when Alan ran past him..poor guy. He poured all the water from my bottle onto his leg and the poo was still there.

Felt sorry for him man..cos i can relate, stepped in dog poo once in Hong Kong. Mum saw me as an embarrassment HAHA oops. 


Found out later that the banhator had an incident with the electric fence, too bad i wasnt there to laugh at him help him out :S hehe

Woke up this morning with sore legs..goddamn it, im so unfit. Walked down the stairs for breakfast and omgaaaah the pain, had to limp my way down D:


Something happened today while i was at tutor which made me really upset..LIKE REALLY UPSET. That phone call man..the thoughts rushing through my head scared me..i watch too many movies :L I know its gonna severely affect a really special occasion thats coming up soon for me, awkward times are ahead but i guess, thats life. Not gonna reveal too much about it but if you're close enough to me, you'll probably hear about it. Just gonna end this on one note: just because we're related doesnt mean that i'll always be on your side rooting for you, cos seriously..your actions determine how i act towards you and so far..it aint good. And i will put the blame ENTIRELY on you if my day doesnt work out the way it should. Seriously, you have the perfect timing to ruin things. IOWJIPJDSIDJSIKJDI@EJ(@DIADNIDSJIDUJDDS -end rant-


On a lighter note, Physics ranks came back. Turns out i got an extra mark in the first assessment WOOOOOO. Finally..a rank which i actually like. My accumulative rank surprised me..didnt think it would actually be a pretty number..though some people might see it as unlucky, thats of course if you're superstitious! ;) But of course, i need a lot of improvement in order to achieve an even prettier rank hurhur

Hingis said she's organised a scavenger hunt thing around the house for me to find my presents HAHA such a cutie, can always count on her to cheer me up :')
